The people! From staff to our families, TWMC is full of spiritually strong, kind, caring people.

Pecan pie

What do you like to do in your free time?
Musical theater! I perform/work part-time with a local theater company.

What are you most thankful for this year?
Family and friends. After the past few years, it’s even more special to be surrounded by family and friends who love and support me, especially my husband and daughter.

What is your favorite part about working at The Woodlands Methodist Church?
I love that we all have the opportunity to serve God and further the mission of our church using the talents He has given us. I’m surrounded by some incredibly talented and amazing people!

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food or dish?
Stuffing (or dressing as my grandmother always said!)

What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, watch theatre (especially musicals!), travel

For being in a community of faith like TWMC

The excitement that comes in serving the Lord

Spend time with my family and travel when we can

The support from leadership and the thankfulness from congregants!

The Lord’s faithfulness!

What is your favorite part about working at The Woodlands Methodist Church?
The legacy of faithfulness, not to anyone’s ego or to “the way we’ve always done things,” but to the Kingdom of the Living God

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food or dish?
All the carbs (turkey is for the birds)! If I had to pick one favorite, I’d say dirty rice, unless I’m going non-traditional, then it’s tacos all the way!

What do you like to do in your free time?
In no particular order: read, write, cook, learn about almost anything, play with my kids, hang out with my wife

My family and to be able to have an amazing work family

My coworkers and the giggles

I love to explore new food places or go to a coffee shop!

The ability to provide tons of community outreach in The Woodlands and Montgomery

Ham and mashed potatoes!

Working out and outdoor family activities

What are you most thankful for this year?
First of all, I am super grateful to God for bringing our congregation to TWMC this year. And I am also very grateful for how TWMC has received us. Everyone has shown us the greatest affection and respect and has helped us in everything we have needed.

What is your favorite part about working at The Woodlands Methodist Church?
Among all the staff I have had to interact with at some point, I have never seen one angry. If anyone has been, they have not shown it to me! (hahaha)

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food or dish?
No matter the date or the celebration, for me a good cut of beef is always welcome on my plate.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Enjoy a good movie, like “The Avengers”
