Women’s Shelter Workday
At-Risk Women | Offsite
Project Goal: Work on projects at the Women's Shelter ranging from cleaning, preparing a meal, sorting and organizing donations, and doing crafts with the children.
The Montgomery County Women’s Center has been committed for many years to providing a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and legal services to survivors of family violence, sexual assault and stalking. Learn more at https://mcwctx.org/
All participants must be 18 years and older and must complete a Background Check and Women’s Center Confidentiality Agreement prior to Sept. 28.
Serve Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Total number of volunteers needed: 15

8:30a.m. - meet at The Woodlands Campus Loft Parking Lot Q.
Will caravan together to the Women’s Shelter
Address will be provided at that time
Wear closed toe shoes
Bring plastic gloves
Child care is not provided.
